Multiple Overlays for Your Weebly theme

An updated version of the previous overlay. The new multiple overlays have two major updates, you now can have as many overlays on your Weebly template as you like, and not only on your template but also on each page individually. Besides that, each overlay can get triggered by multiple links, like buttons, inline-text or images.

I really like this functionality. Is the overlay limited to what it can contain?

What's the advantage to using an overlay vs. Linking to another page?

Hi Craig,

Thanks, you can pretty much add any Weebly elements in the overlay.

The advantage is, you can show additional info keeping visitors on the same page when it is not considered necessary to redirect them to another url.
If applied to an image for example, you can add info about that info in an overlay, keeping the visitors on the same page.

There are much more advantages, but the biggest disadvantage I would say is the fact that google loves sites with many pages, so seo wise, it could be more interesting to create more pages, but obviously you would always have to keep it user friendly,

Hi Nick,

Is there a way to have the content (whether its text, code or a YouTube video) centred vertically and horizontally within this overlay. And that it stays centred at all times, even when resizing the window? If so, a tutorial on that would be great.
